Book Review: The Beach House
The Beach House by James Patterson and Peter De Jonge
Goodreads Summary:
Jack
Mullen is a driven student of the law. His brother Peter is a servant of the
rich, parking the cars of the Hamptons' elite --- and perhaps satisfying their
more intimate needs as well. Then Peter's body is found on the beach. Jack
knows the drowning was no accident, but someone's unlimited power and money
have bought the cops, the judges, the system. Now Jack is learning a lesson in
justice he never got in law school ... and his astonishing plan to beat the
billionaires will have you reeling --- and cheering --- to the very last page
My
Review:
4.5/5 stars
I
had wanted to read a James Patterson book for a while now and I always seem to
just pick up a different one. But this book was amazing and a super easy read I
read it cover to cover while at work haha! I will definitely need to look into
a few of his other books. The story was so tangled into this perfect web he had
designed that even I was amazed how it played out in the end.
Everyone
had been raving on and on about the ending and while I really enjoyed it I
think I had my hopes said really high. Overall a great read written beautifully
stay tuned for more James Patterson reviews in the future.
