Complete silence except for the creaking of the ground beneath our feet. We had stumbled upon the oldest bookstore in London, Hatchards, located in the heart of Piccadilly Circus. It first opened its doors in 1797, and by the looks of it they haven't slowed down since then. There is a grand staircase situated in the middle of the store that can take you to any of the five stories. Each floor contains different genres, but all impressive in their own right. They have generous section of first edition books, as well as an abundance of signed copies. I officially found my haven here in London. It was hard to resist buying almost every book I picked up, but I had to reason with myself about the suitcase room on the return home. To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee 8. 1984 by George Orwell I read all of these books in middle school - high school, and although most of them I spark noted my way through class I have read them all again since and they have become some of my favorite books of all time. 

Books are always better than the movie right? Well, I have decided to challenge myself to read these books before I'm allowed to see them on the big screen. Most of these are scheduled to come out sometime in 2018, but since I don't have the definite date I am just going to make sure I read it before seeing the movie. So I'll be ready for whenever they do come out. I found that these were either expected, through various news articles, to come to the big screen soon or were already in post-production according to IMBD. So I hope those sources are reliable. I will post a book review when I finish it!!
